Appointments
An interactive list of your appointments. Unlike the calendar, you can also find appointments that have been marked as 'Missed' or 'Cancelled'. This page is useful for pin-pointing an appointment.
Appointment Card
Each appointment is represented with a card as illustrated below. You can quickly see that this appointment is for the client Alisha with team member Ellie. The various contact details you have for Alisha will then be listed. In the example we have a mobile number for Alisha so that gets listed.
The middle of the card shows each service, the start time, and the given price. If there are multiple services included in the booking these will be stacked on top of each other. An indicator in the top right-hand side of the card lets you know at a glance the 'status' of the appointment. Appointment Status is covered below.
The button row at the bottom of the card allows you to toggle the Appointment History, or bring up the Appointment Edit menu. Appointment History is covered below.

Appointment Filters
By default, the list of appointments will show today. No additional filters are applied. To change this you can use any combination of three filters to narrow down the result set.

In the example above you can see that we have selected to view only appointments on Friday 30th November, that belong to team member Ellie, and that are marked as 'Attended'. As briefly mentioned earlier, this page can display appointments that you have marked as 'Cancelled' or 'Missed'.
Appointment Status
An appointment's status will be one of three options. By default all appointments are marked as 'Attended', this means that all being well you never have to manually update an appointment once it has been created, we simply assume that unless you indicate otherwise the appointment was attended.

A 'Cancelled' appointment is typically neither here nor there, you and the client have mutually agreed to cancel the appointment before it was scheduled to go ahead. You mark it as 'Cancelled' simply so that it will no longer appear on the calendar and you can free up the space for another appointment.
A 'Missed' appointment would indicate that the client has failed to show up for the appointment entirely, and at no time attempted to cancel or re-schedule the appointment. You mark it this way so that you can keep a history of the client's attendance, you may not wish to accept business from clients that frequently miss appointments and tracking them in this way allows you to do this.
Marking appointments in this way is not mandatory, and would simply be for your records. Ultimately changing the appointment status just determines whether or not the appointment will appear in the calendar.
Appointment History
Every time an action is taken concerning an appointment, this get logged within the appointments 'history'. You can view each appointment's history by clicking or tapping on the 'Show History' button on the bottom left-hand side of each appointment card.

What you will see is a small timeline of events. In the example above we can see that this appointment was 'Requested'. This means that it was an online booking. The client also paid for this appointment in the online booking form, hence the 'Online Payment - Pending' event. Online Payments are not processed until after the appointment has been manually confirmed by the team. This is why 'Confirmed' is the next event, shortly followed by the 'Online Payment - Paid'.
Keeping a time-stamped history of events means that you can clear up any confusion regarding an appointment. You can clearly see when, and in what order events happened with the appointment.
